In 1960's, the intense space development race was done between U.S.A. and the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, U.S.A. started Project Apollo. The launching of Apollo 1 ended in failure, but Apollo 11 succeeded in a landing on the moon. This movie is drawn about Apollo 13.

On April 11, 1970, Apollo 13 was launched toward a month. The mission was done smoothly at first. However, an accident happened suddenly. Part of a spaceship exploded. Apollo 13 gave up a landing to the moon. Furthermore, unfortunately, fuel for Apollo 13 to return to the earth was short. The crew of Apollo 13 did various trials to return on the earth. As a result, Apollo 13 returned miraculously to the earth.

This story is nonfiction. I knew the story of Apollo 13, but I was impressed to watch this movie this time. Because I felt an effort of the staffs of NASA. In addition, I felt worry of a family left on the earth. In the scene of launching, special effects were used so, I was overwhelmed.

Finally, a star of this movie is Tom Hanks. I like the movie which he appears. I am always impressed for the movie which he appears. For example, Forest Gamp and Terminal and more.

Review of 13days

This film describes the 'Cold War'. On October 16th, 1962, U.S. found Soviet Union carries missiles to Cuba. This incident emerged by picture taken by the American spotter. At that time the president of America was J.f.Kennedy. He worried much. People thought if the US attacks Soviet Union, it brings the World War 3. This film is focused on how J.F.Kennedy avoided the war. If W.W.3 had happened, the earth was ended. So Kennedy was responsible to avoid the war.
I think this film is the political suspense and it describes true incident, how U.S solved this serious problem. I was overwhelmed by large scale story and also could feel Kennedy's stress. The most impressive thing for me is the strong combination between Kennedy brothers and O'Donnel. They suffered together under the pressure of nuclear war. I think this film includes human drama. Finally, I want to see another film about the Cuban missile crisis from the Soviet Union side. We should know about truth from both side

Review of Tora Tora Tora

This film describes the whole story of Pearl harbor attack by Japan in 1941. This attack caused the Pacific War. This film is a collaboration of America and Japan. So it referred to the truth　between America and Japan from both sides fairly. I could understand the background. At the first half, I could see how Japan decided to start the Pacific war. And at the latter half, I was surprised that the battle scenes were very powerful, although this film did not use computer graphic. I think this film is very rare because it doesn't include any love stories and antiwar messages, only the Pearl harbor attack was described simply.

Review of My Fair Lady

This film is discrived dramatic one lady's growth. At first, Eliza was poor flower seller and she has spoken bad English. But, she transformed a flower seller into a high society lady by Higgin's speaking lessons after half a year. Finally, two people fall in love.I think this film likes particular love story. This film is theirs express emotion by music. When Eliza can speak good English, she expressed pleasure by singing. And,Audrey's voice also was beautiful.This scene was so great ! ! I felt that singing better than spoke when express pure emotion. I think that this is good point of musical movies.

Review of Lawrence of Arabia

This is a story of Europe and the Middle East under World WarⅠ.　One excellent English man, his name is Thomas Edward Lawrence was described in Arabia. Then he was dispatched to Arabia in order to search Prince Feisal and his intention. That is to say, his mission was grasp the situation of Arabia. Then he joined the Feisal's camp and met Ali, he determined to independence of Arabia. But he couldn't get his wish.When I watched this film, I was surprised at many scenes in a desert. And I thought that a vast reach of desert was very beautiful. Battle scene was really powerful, and sound was also used effective. And, I was shocked by conflicted among tribes ; the scene that they killed their company was cruel. This film helps to understand the situation of Europe and Arabia in World War Ⅰ. Many historical things are drawn. I want many people to watch it.

Review Of Ganhdi

Ganhdi had a great soul which is non-violence campaign for Indian independence. Indian people called Muhatma, this means a great soul.
I knew that he had achieved Indian independence from The British Empire without violence but I had never known that he was a lawyer and claimed Indian rights in South Africa.
India had two religions at that time. That is Hindu and Muslim but Muslim is a minority. As you know, religious conflict is a serious problem now. After Indian independent, one nation was independent from India for Muslims. It is Pakistan. So Muslims who lived in west side India were forced to move to Pakistan. While they were moving, many clashes were happened between Hindu and Muslim believers. And now this conflict have been continued. I think that they should stop this conflict so as not to waste Ganhdi's effort.

Review of Gone with the Wind

This time, I watched Gone with the Wind. The first scene which described party of the upper classes just before The Civil War, I felt richness in an American society at that time. And I thought Scarlett was an object of jealousy for the woman and envy for the man. But I couldn't understand her attraction. What is the charm of the Scarlett who attracted Butler and Ashley? On the other hand, I understood only her sauciness enough.
In the The Civil War, I was surprised at the scene of the explosion of the ammunition depot. Because, it had changed completly up to now, the set was large scale. About Scarlett, in the scene around The War, I had good feeling in the appearance that she lived desperately. However, finally, she returned to former character at the first scene after life became steady.
I felt interest in the relation between Melanie and Scarlett. I thought Melanie was described in contrast to Scarlett and it set off the charcter of Scarlett more.
In the end, I thought this movie was great work. This movie was different from a usual love romance movie. So I enjoyed. But, it was too long for me.
